The camera connection will be disabled when the device works in hot spare mode.

It is highly recommended to restore the device defaults after switching the working mode of the
hot spare device to normal mode to ensure the normal operation afterwards.
16.3 Set Working Device
Step 1 Go to System > Hot Spare.
Step 2 Set the Work Mode to Normal Mode.
Step 3 Check Enable.
Step 4 Enter the IP address, user name, and admin password of the hot spare device.

Step 5 Click Apply.
16.4 Manage Hot Spare System
Step 1 Go to System > Hot Spare in the hot spare device.
Step 2 Check working devices on the device list and click Add to link the working device to the hot spare
device.
A hot spare device can connect up to 32 working devices.
