Testing the encoder connection
Regulated test run

Open ENPO contact. Power stage safely disabled.

Rotate motor shaft clockwise by hand
(1) Direction of view,
(2) Clockwise.
Clockwise is indicated on the display
of the KP200. If not, check the
encoder connections.
If direction of rotation matches display, test is complete.

Select subject area _79EN and with
parameter 790-ECLNC set the lines
per revolution of the encoder.

Back-up the setting in subject area
_15FC with parameter 150-SAVE.
Back-up device setup, then jumps
automatically to READY.

Start drive by closing the STL or STR
contact.
Motor accelerates to preset refer-
ence.

Brake drive by opening the start con-
tact.
Drive brakes down to a standstill.

Open ENPO contact.
ENPO inactive safely disables power
stage.
The regulated test run is complete.
