Basic operations
Power the radio on / off
Turn the volume knob clockwise to power on the transceiver aer hearing a click sound. Turn the
volume knob counter-clockwise to power off the transceiver.
Adjusting the volume
Aer powering on the transceiver, turn the volume knob clockwise to increase the volume, and
turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.
Channel selector
Aer powering on the transceiver, turn the channel selector clockwise or counter-clockwise to
adjust the frequency.
PTT button
Press to transmit and release to receive when your transmission has been finished.
Keyboard lock
When you are not using the keyboard, you can lock the keyboard to prevent an accidental use
of it.
Press the
key during about two seconds to lock or unlock the keyboard.
Reverse frequency
In standby mode, keep pressed the
key to enable or disable this function, the “R” icon will
appear in the upper side of the display when activating this function. In this moment, the radio
transmission frequency turns into reception frequency and reception frequency into transmission
frequency. If you have set CTCSS/DCS tones, the codes will also be interchanged.
