4.2 Storage
Between two uses of the TRITON, it must be stored in a dry sunless place with constant
temperature. It must also be protected from harmful elements like gasoline,
The dust could also be harmful for the rebreather. it can damage o-rings and therefore cre-
ate leaks.
It is better to store the rebreather opened (unsetted), in order to let the o-rings free, specially
if there is a long period between two dives.
The soda lime must be stored in a dry place with constant temperature.
To avoid gaz circulation, you can close the scrubber with M3S cap (see section 5)
WARNING Do not leave absorbent more than 15 days in the scrubber. (Bacterial contami-
nation risk).
Use the TRITON adhesiv sticker to note the filling date of the scrubber.

It is well known that wet rebreather laying on the ground is very attractive for spiders, slugs,
etc... which could strongly damage the rebreather operation.
4.3 The maintenance
A regular maintenance is necessary to assure the good operation of the rebreather. Check-
ing of all components and the o-rings is essential.
The o-rings must be regularly greased with oxycleane grease

. (all o-rings which are used
in the rebreather are listed in section 4.3.2).
The oxygen cells must be calibrated (see section 3.3.4) every month or when the diver has a
doubt about the accuracy (I.e if the cells test is not good). After each recalibration, the cells
must be tested according to the steps developed in section 3.2.3.
