troubleshooting tips
The following cases may not always are a malfunction, please check
this section before contacting the service center.
Problem Possible Causes
Air conditioner won't start
immediately.
• You must wait at least 3 minutes
before changing modes during
operation or after turning off the
air conditioner.
Appliance
won't start
Ineffective control. • Strong interference coming from
an excessive static electricity dis-
charge, power supply voltage ab-
normality. Operation of the appli-
ance will be abnormal. At this
time, disconnect from power sup-
ply and reconnect 2-3 seconds
later.
No cooling or heating (on
some models only).
• The air filter is dirty.
• Air conditioner inlet and outlet
vents are blocked.
• Temperature is improperly set.
The air conditioner
won't run.
• The protector tripped or fuse is
blown. Wait 3 minutes before re-
starting the unit, protective device
may be preventing unit to work.
• Remote control batteries are ex-
hausted.
• Power plug is not properly in-
serted into outlet.
