Air dryer

The air dryer is located on the left front side of the MT under
the cabin. The air dryer – using an air dryer cartridge – dries
the compressed air that the compressor supplies. This makes
it unnecessary to add anti-freeze agent for the compressed air
system.
WARNING!
Accident hazard!
A malfunctioning air dryer can lead to the freezing of
the compressed air system in winter and thereby to the
failure of the brake system.
Personal injury and property damage may result.
X Inspect the function and the operation of the air dryer
regularly by checking the water output at the
compressed air tanks.
The function and the effectiveness of the air dryer can also be
checked by pressing the dewatering valve of all compressed
air tanks.
