What to do if the pilot is burning but there's no gas to the main burner in my Majestic 360DVS2?
    • A
      alexanderfernandezAug 12, 2025
If the pilot light is on but the main burner isn't receiving gas, several factors could be at play. First, inspect the wall switch and wiring for secure connections; try bypassing the wall switch by connecting a jumper wire across the terminals—if the burner ignites, the wall switch is likely faulty and needs replacement. Also, ensure the thermopile wires are tightly connected to the gas valve terminals and the thermopile is fully inserted into the pilot bracket. Check the burner orifices for any obstructions and clear them. Finally, with the valve knob set to 'ON' and the wall switch also 'ON', a millivolt meter should register above 100 mV; if the reading is adequate but the burner remains off, the gas valve may need replacing.

What to do if the pilot won't stay lit on my Majestic 360DVS2?
    • P
      phudsonAug 27, 2025
If the pilot light won't remain lit after following the lighting instructions, the issue might stem from a defective pilot generator (thermocouple) or remote wall switch. Ensure the pilot flame makes good contact with the thermocouple/thermopile. You may need to clean and adjust the pilot to maximize flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. Also, with the valve knob in the 'Pilot' position and flow maintained to the pilot, a millivolt meter should read above 10 mV. If the reading is sufficient and the pilot still won't stay lit, consider replacing the gas valve.

How to fix a spark ignitor that won't light on a Majestic 360DVS2?
    • M
      mcknightmichaelSep 4, 2025
If the spark ignitor isn't lighting, first, try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and try the red button again. If it still doesn't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot; it should be 1/8" for a strong spark. If there's still no spark, push the piezo ignitor button and check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, the ignitor may be defective and needs replacement.

Why does my Majestic 360DVS2 pilot light keep going out?
    • R
      Randy BrownSep 12, 2025
Frequent pilot outages can occur if the pilot flame is too weak or is being blown out, causing the safety mechanism to shut down. Adjust the pilot flame to ensure it properly impinges on the thermopile and thermocouple. Another potential cause is a blocked vent terminal, which can recycle flue gases and disrupt the pilot flame.
