Why my Makita Chainsaw does not start?

Your Makita Chainsaw might not start because two battery cartridges are not installed. Make sure to install two charged battery cartridges. Another reason could be a battery problem, such as low voltage. In this case, recharge the battery cartridges, and if that doesn't work, replace them. Also, the main power switch may be off. If the chainsaw is left un-operated for a while, it automatically turns off, so turn the main power switch on again.
