What to do if my Makita Brush Cutter vibrates abnormally?
- CCharles BrennanJul 28, 2025
If your Makita Brush Cutter vibrates abnormally, it could be due to several reasons. The cutting tool might be bent, worn, or broken, in which case, replace it with a new one. Ensure the cutting tool is securely tightened. If using a nylon cutting head, check if one end of the nylon cutting cord is broken, causing imbalance; feed the cord by tapping the head on the ground. Also, verify that the cutting blade is correctly fitted on the guide of the receive washer, and install it properly if needed. If the drive system isn't working correctly, it needs inspection and repair by a Makita authorized service center.
