Positionnement des plateaux de &coupe
Cet outil comporte des plateaux de decoupe dans le socle rotatif.
Ces plateaux sont ajustes en usine de facon quo la lame n'entre
pas en contact avec eux. Avant utilisation, reglez lea plateaux de
decoupe de la facon suivante:
Debranchez d'abord l'outil. Relachez
toutes les vis (ii y en a 3 a gauche et
autant a droite) qui maintiennent les
plateaux en place. Resserrez-les de facon
que les plateaux puissent etre mus aise-
ment a la main. Relachez la vis de serrage
du socle rotatif. Tirez a fond le chariot
vers vous et abaissez le bras. Ajustez les
plateaux de decoupe de facon qu'ils
soient juste en contact leger avec lea cotes
des dents de la lame. Serrez alors (mais
non a fohd) lea vis de devant. Poussez en-
suite le chariot a fond vers le guide et
reglez les plateaux de decoupe de facon
qu'ils soient juste en contact leger avec lea
cotes des dents de la lame. Serrez alors les
vis de derriere (mais non 5 fond). Une fois
opere ce *lege des plateaux de decoupe,
relevez le bras. Serrez enfin toutes les via
a fond.
ATTENTION:
Cheque fois que vous modifiez l'angle de
biseau, reajustez toujours lea plateaux de
&coupe comme indique ci-dessus.
Positioning kerf board
This tool is provided with the ken
f boards in the turn base. The
kerf boards are factory adjusted so that the saw blade does not
contact the kerf boards. Before use, adjust the kerf boards as
follows:
First unplug the tool. Loosen the all
screws (3 each on left and right) securing
the kerf boards. Re-tighten them to the
extent that the kerf boards can be easily
moved by hand, Loosen the clamp screw
on the turn base. Pull the carriage toward
you fully and lower the handle. Adjust
the kerf boards so that the kerf boards
just contact the sides of blade teeth
slightly. Tighten the front screws (do not
tighten firmly). Push the carriage toward
the guide fence fully and adjust the kerf
boards so that the kerf boards just con-
tact the sides of blade teeth slightly.
Tighten the rear screws (do not tighten
firmly). After adjusting the kerf boards,
raise the handle. Then tighten the all
screws securely.
CAUTION:
After changing the bevel angle, always re-
adjust the kerf boards as described above.

Pour obtenir un rendement maximum
Debranchez l'outil avant toute operation de *lege. Cet outil a
ete *le de facon a fournir son rendement maximum avec une
lame de 255 mm. Lorsque ce diametre s'est trouve reduit par
affutage, ajustez la position limite inferieure de la lame de la
facon suivante:
Poussez le chariot a fond vers le guide et abaissez completement
le bras. A l'aide de la cle a douille, tournez le boulon de reglage
jusqu'a ce que la peripherie de Is lame saille legerement sous la
surface superieure du socle rotatif au point ot) la face avant du
guide rencontre celle-ci. Apres avoir debranche votre outil,
tournez la lame a la main tout en maintenant le bras complete-
ment abaisse, afin de vous assurer que la lame ne touche en
aucun point la base de l'outil. Si necessaire, effectuez de legers
reajustements.
Maintaining maximum cutting capacity
Unplug the tool before any adjustment is attempted. This tool
is factory adjusted to provide the max. cutting capacity for a
255 mm (10

) saw blade. When the diameter of the blade has
been reduced due to sharpening, adjust the lower limit position
of the blade as follows:
Push the carriage toward the guide fence fully and lower the
handle completely. Use the socket wrench to turn the adjusting
bolt until the periphery of the blade extends slightly below the
top surface of the turn base at the point where the front face of
the guide fence meets the top surface of the turn base. With the
tool unplugged, rotate the blade by hand while holding the
handle all the way down to be sure that the blade does not con-
tact any part of the lower base. Re-adjust slightly, if necessary.

ATTENTION:
Apres avoir installe une nouvelle lame, assurez-vous toujours que
celle-ci ne touche aucune partie de la base lorsque le bras est
abaisse a fond. Effectuez cette operation seulement lorsque
l'outil eat debranche.
CAUTION:
After installing a new blade, always be sure that the blade does
not contact any part of the lower base when the handle is
lowered completely. Always do this with the tool unplugged.
