Turbocharger
The exhaust gases of the engine are passed through the turbine rotor of the turbochar-
ger. Air impeller mounted on the same shaft draws in fresh air and delivers it at a higher
pressure to the cylinders.
The turbocharger is air-cooled. Lubrication of the main bearing is by oil under pressure
from the engine lubricating system.
