SETUP OF CRANE BEFORE AND AFTER
TRANSPORTING
Before transporting the crane, place the following
components into their transport positions. After transporting
the crane, place these same components into their working
positions:
• Hoist Mirrors (at hoists) (Figure 5-1)
• Hoist Camera (optional) (Figure 5-1)
• Hoist Mirror (at cab) (Figure 5-2)
• RCL Light Tower (optional) (Figure 5-2)
• Beacon Light (Figure 5-3)
• 2nd Beacon Light (optional) (Figure 5-4)
• Boom Nose Position Indicator (optional) and
Anemometer (optional) (Figure 5-5)
• Front and Rear Access Ladders (Figure 5-6)
Securing all valve cover latches with tie-straps is
recommended to prevent accidental opening during
transportation.
