SHIPPING CONFIGURATION
The crane ships in the configuration shown in Figure 4-3.
SELF-ERECT COMPONENTS
The crane can assemble and disassemble itself using the
following self-erect components (see Figure 4-3
):
• Hydraulic cylinder for extending and retracting crawlers
• Hydraulic cylinders for raising and lowering gantry
• Hydraulic pin pullers for disengaging and engaging
counterweight pins
• Boom butt sheaves for single part rigging line from front
drum
The boom butt can be used to handle, assemble, and
disassemble the following components:
- Carbody counterweight boxes
- Crane counterweight tray and boxes
- Boom sections
- Jib sections
• 3-leg chain lifting sling
• Switches on right side console and remote control for
operating the above components
