Temperature limitations
The following temperature limitations are relevant to the scanner:
Standard XR3
·
The scanner will operate continuously at 0 to 50°C and.
·
Standard XR3 will operate for 40 min at -20°C.
·
Standard XR3 will operate for 20 min at -40°C
Cold Climate Scanner - M20
·
M20 Cold Climate scanner will operate continuously from 0 to 50°C
without Neoprene jacket fitted.
·
M20 Cold Climate scanner will operate continuously from -20°C to 10°C
with Neoprene jackets fitted.
·
M20 Cold Climate scanner will operate up to 8 hours at -40°C with
Neoprene jackets fitted
Caution: Storage temperature is -40 to 70°C. The scanner may be left in
this temperature range, without operating, for extended periods without
damage. If the system core reaches temperatures outside -40 to 70°C
damage may occur.
If the internal components are not at the right temperature the scanner will
not operate.
