MECHANICAL GANTRY SQUARING PROCEDURE
SAFETY FIRST
DANGER: The lid safety override tool overrides critical safety features
required for safe operation of the FX20 printer. This tool is only to be used for
the procedure outlined in this document.
WARNING: This procedure is only to be executed by personnel directly
trained by Markforged.
WARNING: Do not give access to the safety override tool to anyone other
than Markforged trained service persons.
The magnetic eld exposed by the lid lock during this procedure can be harmful for pacemaker wearers.
SUPPLIES
● 5mm hex driver
● Stable ladder or step stool
● Lid safety override tool (at right)
