Additionally, check the two-way switch wires and the thermopile/thermocouple wires for any grounding against the gas appliance or gas supply. Trace these wires to identify and correct any grounding issues.

If they seem fine, use a jumper wire at the valve's TH-THTP terminals. If the unit then turns on, replace the valve wires or check for loose connections.
