Battery tools are always in operating condition. Therefore, the circular saw should always be
turned off when not in use or when carrying the tool at your side.
Blade guard system
(g 2)
The lower blade guard attached to your circular
saw is there for your protection and safety. It should
never be altered for any reason. If it becomes
damaged or begins to return slowly or sluggishly,
do not operate the saw until the lower blade guard
has been repaired or replaced. Always leave the
lower blade guard in its correct operating position
when using the saw.
DANGER!
When sawing through a workpiece, the lower blade guard does not cover the blade on the
underside of the workpiece. Since the blade is exposed on the underside of the workpiece,
ALWAYS keep hands and fingers away from the cutting area. Serious injury will result if any
part of the body comes into contact with the moving blade.
