MIG 180 INVERTER WELDER 058-9306-4
Voltage control (MIG mode)/Amperage control (stick mode)
This control is located on the upper front panel of the welder. It is used to adjust the welding voltage
when the MIG mode is engaged and to adjust the welding amperage when the stick mode is
engaged.
Output current indicator
This indicator is located on the upper front panel of the welder and glows when the welding unit is
providing enough power to weld.
Wire feed speed control
This control is located on the upper front panel of the welder and used to adjust the speed of the
wire being fed when in the MIG welding mode.
Polarity changing
For flux core welding (no shielding gas is
required) the MIG gun lead is connected to the
negative (“-”) terminal and the ground cable is
connected to the positive (“+”) terminal.
For MIG welding (solid wire) using shielding
gas, the MIG gun lead is connected to the
positive (“+”) terminal and the ground cable is
connected to the negative (“-”) terminal.
