What to do if MasterForce MFX2U2200 turns on for 2 seconds then shuts off?

When the water is connected, the accessories are assembled properly, and the power is turned on, the MasterForce pressure washer may turn on for 1 - 2 seconds to prime the pump. It automatically shuts off and waits for the spray gun trigger to be pressed. When the trigger is pressed, water starts flowing through the pump. The water sensor in the pump 'senses' the moving water and automatically turns the pressure washer on. If this doesn't solve the issue, turn the power off, hold in the trigger on the spray gun so that you have a steady stream of water, and while holding the trigger open, simultaneously turn the power on.

Why is my MasterForce MFX2U2200 leaking at the hose connection?
    • N
      Natalie MullenAug 17, 2025
If your MasterForce Pressure Washer is leaking where the high-pressure hose connects to the spray gun, ensure there is an o-ring at the end of the metal tip of the high-pressure hose. If the o-ring is missing, the connection will leak. An O-Ring Replacement Kit is included with your purchase. You can find additional O-Ring Kits online.

What to do if MasterForce MFX2U2200 unit is running, but there is no water flow?

If your MasterForce pressure washer is running but not dispensing water, first ensure that power is not turned on until water comes through the spray gun, as doing so can damage the motor. Then, check the water source, eject the nozzle from the lance to see if the clog is there (if it is, follow nozzle cleaning instructions), remove the lance to spray directly from the spray gun to identify lance problems, and inspect the Garden Hose Adapter for loose connections and filter for debris.
