3.4.6 Solar charging
See figure 3-9. DC voltage coming from a solar panel is
converted to DC for battery charging. Refer to the
specifications for allowable solar string voltages. The
available solar charge current will be added to the main
charger current. If the main charger is disabled (e.g. when
external AC power is unavailable) the solar charger will
switch to the Float stage to maintain the battery charge
state.

3.4.7 Secondary charging mode
See figure 3-10. The secondary battery charger is suitable
for a secondary battery set or as power supply (constant
voltage). The secondary charge output is active (charging a
secondary battery) when external AC power comes
available on the Mains- or Gen input. In power supply
mode (constant voltage) the output is also active in inverter
mode.
