  If you're getting no heart rate reading on your Matrix fitness equipment, it means the console isn't receiving a heart rate signal. Check that you're using the heart rate grips or chest strap correctly, ensuring a chest strap is positioned high enough on your chest. Inspect the connection of the heart rate grip wiring at the heart rate board. Also, check the connection of the heart rate grip wiring to the grips. If all wiring is good, try replacing the heart rate grips and/or the heart rate board. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider replacing the console.
