    • L
      Lisa GarciaAug 26, 2025
If you're getting no heart rate reading on your Matrix fitness equipment, it means the console isn't receiving a heart rate signal. Check that you're using the heart rate grips or chest strap correctly, ensuring a chest strap is positioned high enough on your chest. Inspect the connection of the heart rate grip wiring at the heart rate board. Also, check the connection of the heart rate grip wiring to the grips. If all wiring is good, try replacing the heart rate grips and/or the heart rate board. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider replacing the console.

    • R
      rubenhebertAug 27, 2025
If you're experiencing an erratic heart rate on your Matrix fitness equipment, something is likely interfering with the heart rate signal. Ensure that you are using the heart rate grips or chest strap correctly. Make sure nothing is touching the heart rate grips, such as a safety key string or headphone wiring. Be aware that certain environmental factors like fluorescent lighting, electric dog fences, large electrical motors, cell phone towers, and airports can interfere with the heart rate signal.

If the outlet isn't providing 120V, inspect the power in the fitness room. If LED 15 remains unlit after confirming power to the fitness room, replace the power cord.

If you are experiencing RPM issues with your Matrix fitness equipment, ensure that the INCLINE RESET is in the 'on' position within Manager Mode. Try selecting a different program to see if the RPM is displayed; if it shows in another program, consider updating the console software. Remove the right side disk and check if LED1 (labeled Generator RPM) on the lower control board flashes when the main drive pulley is turned. If LED 1 does not flash, check the socket connection at the LCB. Replace the LCB if this connector is faulty.
