59 Matrix SATATYA PARAM NVR Quick Start
SMTP Port Number: Specify the TCP port for the SMTP service as set in the SMTP Server.
Sender E-mail ID: Enter the sender’s E-mail ID.
Sender Display Name: Enter the User Name that will be displayed in the E-mails.
User Name: Specify the User Name as set in the E-mail account.
Password: Specify the Password as set in the E-mail account.
Alert Cycle: Specify the time in seconds between successive send attempts when the system
tries to send the pending messages.
Retry Count: Specify the number of times the system needs to retry to send the same E-mail
message in the event of an unsuccessful attempt.
Active Days: Specify the number of days the system needs to keep the unsent messages active in
the event of the service being stopped.
Enable SSL: In the event of using an external SMTP Server like Gmail, then make sure this is
enabled.
Enable Sending E-mail: Select this check box to enable the mail sending functionality.
E-mail Id: Enter the E-mail ID to check the connectivity and click Send.
Click Apply to save the settings.
Now again from the windows taskbar, select Start Notification Server to start the service on the
system.
SMS Settings
For the SMS settings, select Custom as the Service Provider.
Custom Service Provider Settings
You can add a Service Provider other than the ones provided by default. To do so,
• Select Custom as the Service Provider option. Maximum 99 service providers can be added.
• Click Add .
