Accessing the Media Player (from separate workstation system)
The Matrix SAMAS Media Player provides the user with an interface to view the records stored in
Backup Storage. With the Media Player, user can scan the video records, perform basic playback
functions viz. ‘Play’, ‘Pause’, ‘Stop’, ‘Smooth Reverse Play’, ‘Speed-up’, ‘Speed-down’, ‘Previous
frame’ and ‘Next frame’.
It is also sometimes desirable to play recorded videos from selected cameras in a synchronous
manner i.e. all videos being played synchronously with reference to a single time instance. This
feature shall also be supported in the Media Player. Also the IVA operations can be performed
with the SAMAS Media player.
