Background Music (BGM)
To Start BGM:
Ÿ Lift handset.
Ÿ Dial 1099
Ÿ Confirmation Tone followed by the confirmatory message “Background music on,
go On-Hook”.
Ÿ Go On-Hook.
Ÿ BGM starts.
To Stop BGM:
Ÿ Dial 1099 again.
Ÿ Confirmation Tone.
Not supported on SPARSH VP248/VP310.
Barge-In
When dialed extension is busy:
Ÿ Press DSS Key assigned to Barge-In.
Ÿ Ring Back Tone.
Ÿ Dialed extension gets beeps.
Ÿ Dialed extension responds.
Ÿ Speech with dialed extension.
Ÿ Other party gets on-hold music.
Ÿ Dial 4 on Busy Tone.
Ÿ Ring Back Tone.
Ÿ Dialed extension gets beeps.
Ÿ Dialed extension responds.
Ÿ Speech with dialed extension.
Ÿ Other party gets on-hold music.
Or
Call Chaining
While in speech with an extension/
external number,
Ÿ Press DSS Key assigned to Call
Chaining.
Ÿ Transfer the call.
Or
Ÿ Press ‘Transfer’ Key. Dial 1050
Ÿ Transfer the call.
Call Cost
To view cost of last 10 calls:
Ÿ Press DSS Key assigned to Call Cost
Display.
Ÿ Last 10 external call costs
are displayed.
Or
Ÿ Dial 1075
Ÿ Last 10 external call costs are
displayed.
To forward calls from remote extension:
Ÿ Press ‘Forward’ Key.
Ÿ Scroll to select ‘Follow Me from’.
Ÿ Enter ‘Source Extension Num’. i.e.
Your Extension Number.
Ÿ Enter your User Password.
Ÿ Confirmation Tone. Go On-Hook.
To cancel Call Follow Me:
Ÿ Press ‘Forward’ Key again.
Ÿ Select ‘Cancel’ and press Key.
Ÿ Confirmation Tone. Go On-Hook.
Call Follow Me
Ÿ Dial 135-Your Extension Number-Your
User Password (from remote
extension).
Ÿ Confirmation Tone. Go On-Hook.
Ÿ Dial 130 (from your extension).
Ÿ Confirmation Tone. Go On-Hook.

Call Forward-All Calls to another
Extension:
Ÿ Press ‘Forward’ Key.
Ÿ Scroll to select ‘Call Forward-
Unconditional’.
Ÿ Enter number of destination
