DRIVING DEPTH ADJUSTMENT DIAL (Fig.17)
Adjust the driving depth by twisting the adjustment dial 1 as in-
dicated below.

• ALWAYS disconnect air supply before attaching/detach-
ing the contact tip.
Attach the Contact Tip

on the tip of Contact Arm

, when driving
nails to a soft material. The Contact Tip can be kept on the Magazine
when not using.
REMOVING JAMMED NAILS

• ALWAYS disconnect the air supply.
• Wear gloves when removing jams; do not use bare
hands.
• Confirm that you have removed all staples from nose of
tool before reconnecting to air supply.
1 Disconnect the air supply.
2 Remove set of nails from the magazine.
3 Pull the front latch 1 to open Driver Guide A 2.
4 Clear the nails-jammed inside Driver Guide A and Wear
Plate 3 using a thin iron bar or a flat-blade screwdriver.
5 Close Driver Guide A and the front latch.
DIRECTIONAL EXHAUST COVER (NF565A/16, NF665A/15)
(Fig.24) Direction of the exhaust air is changeable by rotating Ex-
haust Cover by hand.
