Dust/water in the elec-
tric panel
Fix the electrical panel properly. Inltraon may cause shocks and short circuits resulng in personal injury/ property
damage or damage to the unit.
Pay special aenon to the earthing connecon.
Maintenance
During maintenance, which must always be carried out by authorised personnel, make sure that the disconnector is
o and that no one can accidentally modify the disconnecon measures of the appliance from the unit by means of
specic warnings and an adequate padlock.
Fan
Contact with the fan can cause injury and/or death. Do not access the unit or remove the protecons while the fan is
running.
Refrigerant gas leakage
Wear suitable PPE as a gas leakage could cause injury and intoxicaon. Carefully read the “Safety data sheet of the re-
frigerant” included in the manual. Do not make use of heat sources near the circuit before it is completely discharged.
Water leaks
These can cause personal harm and property damage and risk a short circuit. We recommend posioning the shut-o
valves.
All personnel working on the refrigeraon circuit must be able to present a cercate of competence, issued by an organizaon with indus-
trial accreditaon. This cercate conrms, through industry standard procedure, their competence in the safe management of refrigerants.
Maintenance operaons can only be carried out in compliance with the manufacturer's specicaons. If maintenance and repair operaons
require assistance from addional sta, the person qualied for the management of ammable refrigerants must constantly supervise the
work.
Before starng any operaon on devices with ammable refrigerant, safety checks must be performed in order to minimize the risk of igni-
on. Take the following measures before working on the cooling circuit:
Measure Completed Notes
1
General working environment
Inform the following persons of the type of work to be carried out:
–All maintenance personnel
–All persons in the vicinity of the system.Delimitare l’area aorno alla pompa di
calore.
Mark out the area around the heat pump.
Survey the immediate surroundings of the heat pump for am- mable mate-
rials and sources of ignion.

In order to recognise a ammable atmosphere in me:Before, during and
aer the work, check the surrounding area for any escaping refrigerant, us-
ing an explosion-proof refrigerant detector suitable for R32.This refrigerant
detector must not generate any sparks and must be suitably sealed.

Un A CO2 or powder exnguisher must be at hand in the following ca- ses:
Refrigerant is being topped-up.
Welding or brazing/soldering work is being carried out.

When carrying out work on a refrigerant circuit that contains or previously
contained ammable refrigerant, never use sources of ignion that could
ignite the refrigerant. Remove all possible sources of ignion, including ciga-
rees, from the area where installaon, repair, dismantling or disposal work
is taking place that may result in refrigerant escaping.
Before starng work, survey the immediate surroundings of the heat pump
for ammable materials and sources of ignion: Remove all ammable ma-
terials and sources of ignion.
Display no smoking signs.

Carry out repairs outdoors, or provide adequate venlaon for the work
locaon before interfering with the refrigerant circuit or commencing any
welding or brazing/soldering work.
The venlaon must be maintained for the enre duraon of the work. The
venlaon should dilute any refrigerant that may es- cape and should ideally
discharge it to atmosphere.
