Risk due to:
Dust/water in the elec-
tric panel
Fix the electrical panel properly. Inltraon may cause shocks and short circuits resulng in personal injury/ property
damage or damage to the unit.
Pay special aenon to the earthing connecon.
Maintenance
During maintenance, which must always be carried out by authorised personnel, make sure that the disconnector is
o and that no one can accidentally modify the disconnecon measures of the appliance from the unit by means of
specic warnings and an adequate padlock.
Fan
Contact with the fan can cause injury and/or death. Do not access the unit or remove the protecons while the fan is
running.
Refrigerant gas leakage
Wear suitable PPE as a gas leakage could cause injury and intoxicaon. Carefully read the “Safety data sheet of the re-
frigerant” included in the manual. Do not make use of heat sources near the circuit before it is completely discharged.
Water leaks
These can cause personal harm and property damage and risk a short circuit. We recommend posioning the shut-o
valves.
• All personnel working on the refrigeraon circuit must be able to present a cercate of competence, issued by an organizaon with indus-
trial accreditaon. This cercate conrms, through industry standard procedure, their competence in the safe management of refrigerants.
• Maintenance operaons can only be carried out in compliance with the manufacturer's specicaons. If maintenance and repair operaons
require assistance from addional sta, the person qualied for the management of ammable refrigerants must constantly supervise the
work.
• Before starng any operaon on devices with ammable refrigerant, safety checks must be performed in order to minimize the risk of igni-
on. Take the following measures before working on the cooling circuit:
Measure Completed Notes
1
General working environment
• Inform the following persons of the type of work to be carried out:
–All maintenance personnel
–All persons in the vicinity of the system.Delimitare l’area aorno alla pompa di
calore.
• Mark out the area around the heat pump.
• Survey the immediate surroundings of the heat pump for am- mable mate-
rials and sources of ignion.
2
• In order to recognise a ammable atmosphere in me:Before, during and
aer the work, check the surrounding area for any escaping refrigerant, us-
ing an explosion-proof refrigerant detector suitable for R32.This refrigerant
detector must not generate any sparks and must be suitably sealed.
3
Un A CO2 or powder exnguisher must be at hand in the following ca- ses:
• Refrigerant is being topped-up.
• Welding or brazing/soldering work is being carried out.
4
• When carrying out work on a refrigerant circuit that contains or previously
contained ammable refrigerant, never use sources of ignion that could
ignite the refrigerant. Remove all possible sources of ignion, including ciga-
rees, from the area where installaon, repair, dismantling or disposal work
is taking place that may result in refrigerant escaping.
• Before starng work, survey the immediate surroundings of the heat pump
for ammable materials and sources of ignion: Remove all ammable ma-
terials and sources of ignion.
• Display no smoking signs.
5
• Carry out repairs outdoors, or provide adequate venlaon for the work
locaon before interfering with the refrigerant circuit or commencing any
welding or brazing/soldering work.
• The venlaon must be maintained for the enre duraon of the work. The
venlaon should dilute any refrigerant that may es- cape and should ideally
discharge it to atmosphere.
