O. The width of the Ramps is 8”. Make sure
the tires of the vehicle being rolled up and
down the Ramps are less than 8” in width.
P. Maneuvering and rolling a heavy ATV,
motorcycle, or other piece of equipment up
and down the Ramps can be strenuous and
dangerous. This should only be done by
individuals who are physically able to handle
the demands of this task.
Q. Be aware that the connection of the up-
per lip of each Ramp to the vehicle’s tailgate
or other vehicle component may cause dam-
age to the paint nish of the vehicle.
R. Adhere to all Department of Transporta-
tion (D.O.T.) requirements when using this
product.
S. Save packaging information, warnings
and this manual. They contain important in-
formation and must always remain readable.
Contact MAXXHAUL for replacements.
Keep in mind that the warnings previous-
ly discussed cannot cover all possible
conditions or situations that could occur.
It is important that the person setting up
and using this product understand that
common sense and caution are factors
which cannot be built into this product,
and must be supplied by the person(s)
using this product.
Limited Warranty
MAXXHAUL warrants to the original retail
purchaser that the product is free of defects
in material and workmanship at the time of
shipment. This Aluminum Ramp Kit is war-
ranteed for 90 days from the date of pur-
chase. This warranty is expressly in lieu of
all other warranties, express or implied.
Proof of purchase is required for warranty
transactions; a copy of the original invoice
or sales receipt is required.
4. Setting Up and Using the Aluminum
Ramp Kit
A. Always wear ANSI approved
safety googles when setting-up and using
this product.
B. Lay out the Ramps and note the design
di󰀨erence between the top and underside of
each Ramp - see photos below.
C. The hardwood planks will be bolted to
the Ramps as shown below.
D. Planks: When choosing what type of
plank (purchased separately) is to be at-
tached to each Ramp, several things must
be considered:
Plank composition: Planks should be made
of Douglas Fur or Oak solid wood. Wood
must be clean and free of knots. The planks
should be 2 inch thick x 8 inch wide to t
perfectly with the design of the Ramps.
The length of the planks is dependent on the
amount of vertical distance from the ground
to the pickup truck’s bed (or other raised ob-
ject the equipment is to be rolled onto). Use
the illustration and chart on the next page to
determine the required length of each plank.
