Overview

This document is an instruction manual for Maxxus Infrared Saunas, specifically models MX-J206-01 (2-person) and MX-J306-01 (3-person) FAR Infrared Saunas. It provides comprehensive information on the device's function, technical specifications, usage, and maintenance.

Function Description:

The Maxxus Infrared Sauna is designed for indoor use, utilizing FAR infrared rays to generate heat. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air, infrared saunas heat the body directly through a process called conversion. Far Infrared rays penetrate organic substances like the human body two to three inches, providing a uniform warming effect. This deep heating promotes perspiration, which helps in the natural cooling process and aids in removing acid and waste residues such as toxins, sodium, alcohol, nicotine, cholesterol, and potentially carcinogenic heavy metals from cells. The sauna is reported to offer various therapeutic benefits, including pain relief from Rheumatoid Arthritis, muscle spasm relaxation, increased blood circulation, cardiovascular conditioning, clearing rashes and acne, cellulite reduction, removal of toxins and mineral waste, stress and fatigue reduction, and enhanced skin tone. The manual explicitly states that these benefits are presented for reference only and no implication of infrared saunas creating a cure for or treating any disease is implied.

    • Using towels on the bench and for wiping perspiration is advised.

    • Do not install near water or in wet environments.
    • Do not stack or store objects on top of or inside the sauna.
    • Do not continuously switch power ON and OFF excessively.
    • Hands must be dry when handling cords and wiring.

  • Cleaning: Use plain water and a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the interior. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosol cleaners, benzene, alcohol, or strong chemical-based cleaning agents, as they can be absorbed into the wood and damage the sauna. Unplug the sauna from the wall outlet before cleaning.
  • Heater Inspection: Visually inspect all heaters for damage before assembly. Do not start the sauna if damage is detected.
  • Power Cord: If damaged or excessively hot, contact the manufacturer for replacement.
  • Electrical Outlet: Ensure the outlet is in good working order. If loose wiring or sparking is observed, have it replaced by a certified electrician.
