Overview

This document is an instruction manual for Maxxus Infrared Saunas, specifically models MX-J206-01 and MX-J306-01, designed for 2 and 3 persons, respectively. These are FAR Infrared saunas, utilizing carbon model heaters and intended for indoor use only. The MX-J206-01 requires a 120VAC 15AMP dedicated circuit, while the MX-J306-01 requires a 120VAC 20AMP dedicated circuit.

Function Description:

Infrared saunas operate by emitting infrared rays, a band of light perceived as heat, which directly penetrate the body's tissues to induce perspiration. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air to high temperatures (upwards of 190°F), infrared saunas achieve the same effect at lower temperatures (up to 120°F), making the environment more tolerable and easier to breathe. The process is called conversion, where infrared rays heat the body without heating the air in between. Far Infrared, specifically, penetrates organic substances like the human body two to three inches, providing a uniform warming effect.
