6.2 Maintenance planning
Table below shows the list of actions to be performed for a full preventive maintenance.
Each action has to be performed by the user or a technician approved by Medisoft or its
representative.
The highlighted actions have to be performed by the user by following the procedures
described in the next paragraphs. The procedures for the technicians are included in the
field service manual.

(1) The replacement of the sample bag could be sooner than six months if there is a leak.
If there is a leak in the sample bag, there will be a warning message during the setup
of the test.
(2) The replacement of the NO scrubber could be sooner than six months when the
confidence values are out of specification. In urban areas with high ambient NO
concentration, the NO scrubber could have a shorter life than six months.
(3) The replacement of the pneumotachograph mesh could be sooner than six months if
the calibration verification fails.
(4) The analyser might need replacing sooner than the recommended interval if the
biological control tests or calibrations are different than expected.
