 Turn on the i700 scanner.

 Press the power button on i700 and wait until the USB connection indicator turns blue.

 Turn off the i700 scanner.

 Press and hold the power button of the i700 for 3 seconds.

01 i700 Handpiece4
This is the main body of the i700 scanner where you will be able to find the power button as well as the start/stop button for scanning.4
Power Hub4
Connects the i700 body to the power source and PC.4
02 i700 Handpiece Cover4
It is important to prevent your scanner from being exposed to externalities for long periods of time. Your i700 body is hence protected by the handpiece cover to prevent it from being contaminated during transportation.4
03 i700 Reusable Tips4
Each i700 package comes with four reusable scanner tips. The tips should be sterilized between patients!4
04 i700 Calibration Tool4
You can calibrate your i700 using the calibration tool. Calibration should be performed before the first use, as well as periodically, to ensure optimal scanning performance.4
05 Desktop Cradle4
Make sure that your i700 is placed in a secure place to prevent damage. The desktop cradle is an easy way to keep your i700 body safe on a flat surface when not in use.4
06 Wall Mount Holder4
Like the desktop cradle, the wall mount holder is meant to keep the i700 secure when not in use. This requires additional assembly.4
07 USB 3.0 Cable5
To be connected to a USB 3.0 port on the PC as well as to the Power Hub.5
08 i700 Medical Adapter and i700 Power Cord5
The medical adapter to be connected to the Power Hub and Power Cord and to the power source.5
09 USB Memory Stick5
The USB memory stick is pre-loaded with the image acquisition software, the Medit iScan.5
10 User Guide5
It is important to read the user manual before using the i700 to prevent any damage or accidents. Besides teaching you how to set up the i700, the user manual also contains important information about the proper usage of the scanner.5

[1] Build up the main scan data by scanning the occlusal surface from the last molar to anterior teeth. Hover 1-2 mm away from the teeth. The trick is to maintain a consistent distance from the teeth while also moving at a consistent speed when scanning.17
