HOW TO USE
IMPORTANT:
• The engine is supplied without oil.
Fill with SAE-10W30 oil before using
for the rst time.
• Always check the oil level before use.
ENGINE OIL
Check the oil level
1. Place the product on a level surface with
the engine switched o.
2. Unscrew the oil ller plug and wipe the
dipstick.
3. Replace the ller plug with the dipstick,
without screwing it in.
4. Remove the dipstick again and check the
oil level. The oil level should be between
the Max and Min marks.
NOTE:
Do not screw in the dipstick when checking
the level – just insert it up to the thread.
Fill up with oil
1. Top up with oil if the oil level is near or
below the Min mark on the dipstick.
2. Top up to the Max mark on the dipstick.
3. Do not overll. Wipe o any spilled oil.
4. Replace the oil ller plug.
FUEL
NOTE:
• Petrol is a perishable product. Do not
buy more petrol than you can use in
30 days.
• Do not mix oil in the petrol.
• Do not ll more than to the bottom edge
of the ller tube, so that the fuel can
expand. Do not overll the tank.
1. Clean the area around the fuel ller cap
before opening.
2. Open the fuel ller cap and check the fuel
level.
3. Fill up with fuel if the level is too low.
Avoid spilling fuel when lling. Do not
overll. The fuel must not come up the
ller tube.
4. Wipe up any spilled fuel before starting
the engine.
5. Replace and tighten the cap on the tank
by hand.
STARTING/STOPPING
NOTE:
• Before starting, check the fuel level and
oil level in the engine.
• Check that the clutch handle is not
locked.
1. Put the throttle lever in the choke position.
2. Get a rm grip on the starter handle. Pull
the starter cord slowly until it catches, and
then pull quickly.
3. When the engine has started, move the
throttle lever to slow mode (tortoise).
4. After that you can select quick mode
(hare).
5. Put the throttle lever in position O to
switch o the engine.

ROTAVATING
1. Start the blades by pressing the clutch
handle against the rotavator handle.

2. Stop the rotation of the blades by
releasing the clutch handle.
