HOW TO USE
• Always hold the machine with both hands
and work in an upright safe posture.
• Always work at a safe distance from other
persons, and keep at a safe distance from
walls, large stones and vehicles.
• Do not use the machine indoors.
• Never put your hands or feet near, or
under, rotating parts. Always keep at a
safe distance from the ejector opening.
• Be careful when working on, or crossing
entrances, roads, etc. Pay attention to
trac and hidden danger.
• Switch o the machine immediately if you
run into something. Carefully check the
machine and repair any damage before
using it again.
• Switch o the machine immediately if it
starts to vibrate abnormally. Identify the
cause. Vibrations usually indicate a
problem.
• Switch o the machine, pull out the plug
and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before moving away,
before transporting the machine, before
cleaning the cutting deck or ejector, and
before cleaning, inspection, adjusting or
repairing.
• Be very careful when changing direction
on slopes.
• Be careful when reversing with the
machine.
• Never use the machine if the guards or
other safety devices are dismantled or
damaged.
• Never point the ejector at people or
animals, or at objects that can be
damaged. Keep onlookers, especially
children, and pets at a safe distance.
• Do not overload the machine by trying to
cut grass that is too tall too quickly.
• Only use the machine in daylight, or in
good articial lighting.
• Make sure you always have a rm footing
and a rm grip on the handle. Never run
with the machine.
PERSONAL SAFETY
• Always pay attention when working with
the machine, and use your common
sense. Never use power tools if you are
tired or under the inuence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of
inattention when working with the
machine can result in serious personal
injury.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose-tting clothing or jewellery. Tie up
long hair and keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts on the
machine. Loose-tting clothing, jewellery
or long hair can get caught in moving
parts.
• Always check that Allan keys/spanners etc.
have been removed from the machine
before starting it. A tool or key left in a
rotating machine part can result in
personal injury.
• Do not overreach. Always maintain a rm
footing and good balance.
CLEANING THE CUTTING DECK
Follow the instructions below to clear the rotor
housing:
– Switch o the machine and remove
the battery.
– Ensure that the blade has come to a
complete standstill.
– Use a suitable tool to clean the
cutting deck. Never use your hands.

Never clear the cutting deck with your hands.
If your hands or feet come into contact with the
blade, there is a risk of serious personal injury.
