• Undo the blade screw to remove the blades.
Check the blades’ balance by inserting a
screwdriver with a round stem (or other
round object) through the hole in the
middle. The blades should hang horizontally
without moving. If they are not balanced,
the heavier end of the blade will drop down.
Sharpen the heavier end until the blades are
balanced. Replace or repair damaged parts.
