MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Check at regular intervals that all unions
are intact and properly tightened, and
that the machine is in safe working
condition.
• Follow all the instructions and safety
instructions, including the storage
instructions.
• Stickers with safety information and
instructions must always be clean and
legible. Replace them if necessary.
• When not in use, store the machine in a
dry place out of the reach of children.

FOR THE CHARGER AND BATTERY
• Keep these safety instructions in a safe
place. These instructions contain
important information for safe use of the
battery.
• Read and follow the instructions and
these safety instructions for the charger
and battery before use. Make sure to hand
over these instructions and safety
instructions if the machine is handed over
to another person.
• Prevent accidents by only charging the
intended battery. Other types of batteries
can explode and cause personal injury.
• Protect the charger, battery and the
machine from moisture and water.
• Only use the accessories and attachments
specied in the instructions. The use of
other accessories or auxiliary equipment
can result in a risk of personal injury.
• Make sure to route the charger cable in
such a way that it cannot be stood on,
tripped over, or otherwise put safety at risk.
• Only use an extension cable if it is
absolutely necessary. The use of an
unsuitable extension cable can result in a
risk of re or electric shock. Pay attention
to the following if it is necessary to use an
extension cable:
– The extension cable must be properly
connected and undamaged.
• Never use a charger with a damaged
power cord or defective plug. A defective
power cord must be immediately repaired
by a technician.
• Never use a charger that has been
subjected to knocks, dropped, or
otherwise damaged. Have the power cord
repaired by a technician.
• Never dismantle the charger. Bring or
send the charger to an authorised service
centre for maintenance or repair. Incorrect
installation can result in electric shock or
re.
• Prevent the risk of electric shock by pulling
the plug on the charger out of the power
point before maintenance or cleaning. It
is not enough to just switch it o.
• Unplug the plug on the charger from the
power point when the machine is not
being charged.
• When not in use keep the battery away
from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws
and other metal objects that can short
circuit the terminals. A short circuit
between the battery terminals can result
in burn injuries or re.
• Incorrect use can cause uid to leak from
the battery. Avoid contact with this liquid.
Rinse with water after temporary contact.
Seek medical attention if you splash your
eyes. Leaking battery uid can cause
irritation of the skin.
