13 Troubleshooting
Contact our hotline if the actions listed
below fail to rectify the problems or if
other problems not listed here occur.
You will nd the telephone numbers (local
rates) in the lid of the water tank or in the
Service section on our website.
Problem Cause Action
Coee only emerges
from the outlet in drips.
Grinding neness too ne. Set a coarser grinding neness (see sec-
tion7.7, page24).
Appliance soiled. Clean the brewing unit (see section8.2,
page25).
Run the Cleaning coee system programme
(see section8.7, page26).
Appliance is covered
inside with limescale.
Descale the appliance (see section8.8,
page26).
Coee does not ow
through.
Water tank not lled or
inserted incorrectly.
Fill the water tank and ensure it is
positioned correctly (see section4.1,
page21).
Brewing unit clogged.
Clean the br
ewing unit (see section8.2,
page25).
Grinder does not grind
coee beans.
Coee beans do not drop
into the grinder.

longer than 2seconds. Release the buttons
again. The appliance then initialises.
