Lift the bow out of the water
Generally increase top speed
Increase clearance over submerged objects or a shallow
bottom
Increase steering torque or pull to the left at a normal
installation height (with the normal right hand rotation
propeller)
In excess, can cause boat porpoising (bouncing) or propeller
ventilation
Warning System Features and Operation
LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM TEST
At engine start‑up, the low oil pressure warning light will turn on for
10 seconds as a normal system test.

LOW OIL PRESSURE
The low oil pressure warning light will turn on if the oil pressure
drops too low. First, stop the engine and check the oil level. Add
oil if necessary. If the oil is at the recommended level and the
warning horn stays on, consult your dealer. Engine speed will be
limited to 2100 RPM, however, you should not continue to run the
engine.
