2. Position the fuel line primer bulb so the arrow on the side of
the bulb is pointing up. Squeeze the fuel line primer bulb
several times until it feels firm.
IMPORTANT: To prevent engine flooding, do not squeeze the
primer bulb after the engine has warmed up.
3. Set the lanyard stop switch to the "RUN" position. Refer to
General Information ‑ Lanyard Stop Switch.
4. Set the tiller handle gear shift to the neutral ("N") position.
5. Cold engine ‑ If the engine is cold, press the fuel primer in
twice and pull out the choke/fast idle knob for starting. Push
in the choke/fast idle knob after engine starts to warm up.
