Aids in the removal of engine oil without
draining the crankcase. Connect to the
crankcase oil pump.
6. Install the crankcase oil pump assembly onto the dipstick tube. Verify the
pump is securely attached to the tube by pulling it up lightly.
a - Oil drain hose
b - Lock button
7. Place the drain tube of the crankcase oil pump into an appropriate
container. The container should be large enough to hold more than
9.8 Liter (10 US qt).
8. Extract the engine oil with the pump.
9. Allow the drain tube to completely drain before removing the oil pump
from the dipstick tube.
10. Press on the oil drain hose lock button to release it from the dipstick tube.
