2 Maintenance
8. Lubricate the cylinder bore with Molikote 44 grease. Apply
Molikote 44 grease to the shift shaft (Fig.2.71) and fit the shift
shaft into the cylinder bore (Fig.2.72).
Fit the 'O' ring, locating it correctly in the piston groove.
Generously lubricate the 'O' ring, piston (Fig.2.73) with
Molikote 44 grease and carefully insert the piston into the
cylinder bore (Fig.2.74).

NOTE: Piston and Push-rod could be replaced with a single
component (Fig. 2.75). *
The old Piston&Push-rod and the new Push-rod are
interchangeable.
