4.2 Troubleshooting and checklist
W hen troubleshooting , check the following items first:
• Does the malfunction affect all table functions?
• Does the m alfun ction only affect one control function?
• If the p robl em on ly affe cts one control fu nction , d oes it do so in b oth di rection s ?
• Is the m alfu n ction that the ta ble doe s n ot m ove or that it will no t main tai n its po si tion?
Th e followin g comp one nts a re common to all systems. If there is a malfunction in these, all control functions
will b e affe cted .
• Control unit
• Hand control unit
• Battery
• Power source/battery
If there is a malfunction in one of the following components, it usually affects only one function.
• Motor
• Gas spring
Malfunction Cause
Table adjustments do not function. • Sw itch is in STAND BY position
• Hand control is unplugged
• Battery is dead
• Fuse is blown
• Faulty ha nd control
• Fau lty control unit
Table functions are sluggish and weak. • Low battery charge
•Faulty motor
Operating table function duration is short, even
though the battery has bee n charged in accord ance
with instructions.
• Fau lty charger
• Faulty battery
• B atter y too old
