Kit Assembly 95-7309
1. Slide the appropriate bracket into the
trim plate aligning the holes in the trim
plate to the clips on the bracket.

2. Slide the DDIN radio unit into the trim
plate bracket assembly and secure the
unit to the kit using the screws supplied
with the head unit. (Figure B)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness in the
dash. Metra recommends using the
proper mating adapter from Metra or
AXXESS. Re-connect the negative
battery terminal and test the unit for
proper operation.
4. Reassemble dash in reverse order
of disassembly.

Note:
• For the Hyundai Sonata 1991-2001,
Hyundai Tiburon 1997-2002, and the
Hyundai Santa Fe 2001-2006 vehicles
you will need to attach the provided
thick spacers to the double DIN
brackets. (Figure A)
• For the Hyundai Elantra 1996-2000
vehicles you will need to attach the
provided thin spacers to the DDIN
brackets. (Figure B)
• Spacers will need to be removed from
shipping bar.
