6.2 mei CF 7900
Advice for type designation: The coin changer with MDB interface is named CF7900 and comes from the product family CF7000. WMF uses the CF7900
(with MDB interface).
Description of main components:
1 - The reject lever can be used to clear obstructed coins from inside the coin checker
and (depending on the settings of the coffee machine) return change after a vend.
2 - Coin checker and separator assembly group. The coin checker is fitted with sensors
that compare the characteristics of each coin or each token inserted with those of a
pre-programmed set. Inserted coins/tokens, which meet the criteria are accepted
and then passed through the separator to be routed into the change tubes or cash
box. Rejected coins/tokens are routed via the reject chute inside the changer into
the return cup of the vending machine.
3 - The operating surface (Man Machine Interface, MMI) includes six buttons and a
message display. The buttons are used to access the CF7900 configuration menus
and dispense coins from the coin tubes. The display allows for menu messages to be
displayed and can also assist in troubleshooting.
4 - The MMI is fitted with three colour LEDs (red, yellow, green), which are used to indi-
cated the operational status of the CF7900. The LEDs can either be On, Off or flash-
ing.
5 - Coin tube cassette. This serves to provide storage for a supply of coins for dispens-
ing as change.
6 - Dispenser module. This dispenses coins from the coin tube cassette to be returned as
change.
