FUEL CUT-OFF SWITCH (Petrol engine models only)
ALWAYS check for fuel leaks before resetting the fuel cut-off
switch.
The fuel cut-off switch is a safety device which, in the event of a
collision or sudden impact, automatically cuts off the fuel supply to
the engine.
The switch is located on the right hand side of the engine
compartment, mounted on the bulkhead. After the switch has
been activated, it must be reset by pressing the rubber top (arrowed
in illustration) before the engine can be restarted.
NOTE: On diesel models, the fuel cut-off system resets automatically and
therefore, does not need to be reset by the driver.
