INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
VIDEO ENDOSCOPE CLEANING
INSTRUMENTS: REF: 81020 OR 81020N
SOAK DISINFECT THE VIDEO ENDOSCOPE
Carefully immerse the Video Endoscope, making sure that the delicate part of the Endoscope is protected during soaking. It
is recommended that the endoscope and camera should be cleaned, dried and assembled before soak disinfecting together to avoid
fogging of their adjacent lenses. Fogging compromises the quality of the video image during surgery. If the Endoscope and camera
are disinfected separately, each instrument must be dried thoroughly before assembling to avoid fogging. Follow the solution
manufacturer’s recommendations for soaking time, but do not exceed two hours. Always transport the Endoscope with the
endoscope protection sleeve locked in place and store the Endoscope in the foam-lined sterilization tray.
NOTES: Soaking solutions are recommended to disinfect only the Video Endoscope REF: 81020 OR 81020N.
