Normal Operations
System is locked to Time, TOD, and Frequency Source
o The GPS receiver is in fine time mode (< 50 ns) and is tracking at least
4 satellites.
o Timescale – System has enough clock inputs and is able to compute
the timescale
o PPS Steer Source
o External Reference
GPS RX:
Is tracking less than 4 satellites.
System is unable to communicate with the GPS receiver.
GPS not tracking for more than 30 minutes (30 = default, User settable)
GPS receiver hardware error
Antenna shorted
Time scale is missing or unable to communicate with one or more clocks, is still able to
compute the time scale
PPS Steering has input, unable to communicate with reference
External reference is present, unable to communicate with reference
Complete failure or interruption of one or more of the Time, TOD, and Frequency
Sources.

3.1.4 Outputs Indicator
This indicator shall provide the operator a visual indication regarding the NTP Server Status and output
modules installed in the rear card slots on the unit.
Outputs not yet enabled, NTP has not started.
Outputs are enabled and reporting their status is good. NTP is locked
Output Port failure or NTP is not locked.

3.1.5 Fans
Each fan is monitored by the 4380A. Any issues with the fans will be reported as an issue under the status
for the fans. Fan #1 is on the left and fan #2 is on the right. To check the status of the fans use the
following commands on the command port.

[1] true true indicates the fan is working
[2] true false indicates the fan is off
