5.1 Connectors
To ensure the correct and reliable operation of the equipment, only high quality
balanced, screened, twisted pair audio cable should be used. The AES3 adapter
cable is to be 110Ohms.
To fully comply with national legislation including (but not limited to)
transposition of EC EMC Directive 2004/108/EC by EU member states and FCC Part
15 for the United States of America, only the supplied cable may be used with the
AES3 outputs.
XLR connector shells should be of metal construction so that they provide
a screen when connected and, where appropriate, they should have Pin 1
connected to the cable screen.

Mic/line input audio connector. Male XLR plug and female XLR chassis connector
with the following pinouts:
(1) Ground
(2) Hot
(3) Cold
Word clock BNC connector and 75 Ohms coaxial cable.
25-way, D-type connector terminates the AES3 adapter cable and analogue input
and output cables.
ADAT optical TOSLINK connector.
