Residua l Heat W arning
When t he hob has been operating for som e tim e, there will be som e residual
heat . The lett er H appears to warn you to keep away from it .
Aut o Shut dow n
Another safety feature of the hob is auto shut down. This occurs whenever you
forget to swit ch off a cooking zone. The default shutdown tim es are shown in
the t able below:

Using the Timer
You can use t he tim er in t wo different ways:
You can use it as a m inute m inder. I n this case, t he tim er will not turn any
cooking zone off when t he set t im e is up.
You can set it to t urn one cooking zone off or m ore t han one after t he set tim e
is up.
You can set t he tim er for up to 99 m inutes.

I f you are not select ing a n y cooking zone
1. Make sure the cooktop is turned on.
Note: you can use t he m inute m inder even if youre not selecting any
cooking zones.
