• Do not use aluminum foil to line or cover the grates or any other part
of the cooktop. Doing so may result in carbon monoxide poisoning,
overheating of the cooktop surfaces, or fire.
• In the event that personal clothing or hair catches fire, drop and roll
immediately to extinguish flames.
• Do not attempt to lift the cooktop. Doing so may damage the gas
tubing to the surface burners resulting in a gas leak and risk of fire
• Never place anything (aluminum foil, spill mat, baking stone,
cookware, etc.) on the bottom of the oven cavity. These items can
trap heat or melt, resulting in damage to the appliance and risk of
electric shock, smoke, or fire.
