Why won't my Midea MGS30S2AST Ranges burners light?
    • A
      alexander73Aug 11, 2025
If the burners on your Midea Ranges aren't lighting, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the appliance is receiving power by checking that the circuit breaker or fuse hasn't tripped and that the cord is properly plugged in. If the control panel display is working, verify that the gas shut-off valve is in the ON position and the gas supply to your house is active. Also, make sure the burners and burner caps are correctly positioned on the cooktop, the burner ports are free from clogs, and the igniters are clean, dry, and sparking properly.

What to do if Midea Ranges won't maintain a rolling boil?
    • R
      Rachel JonesAug 18, 2025
If your Midea Ranges isn't maintaining a rolling boil or cooking fast enough, it might be due to improper cookware. Use only pans with flat bottoms that match the diameter of the cooktop burner you've selected. Adjust the flame so it doesn't extend beyond the edge of the pot. Also, large pots and pans can lose a lot of heat from the top, so covering the pan with a lid can help retain heat better.
